Recently I've got an idea of creating a new artwork project to celebrate the annual F10 release. The project name is Fedora History Tour. Today Jon McCann made a blogpost called State of the Art :: Wallpapers so why not use the work he did generally and adjust it for Fedora? So I downloaded all the Fedora default wallpapers since Fedora Core 1, picked some of the desings submitted for F10 Theme Round 1 and made a simple walkthrough in inkscape. Here's the result:
SVG, similar project from Mola

Cool stuff and timely posted... just when I was researching for the "Fedora History Tour" item on FWN.
cool.
It is possible to have a "fedora backgrounds" package containing all the old backgrounds (potentially minus the branding)?
(I wanted the flying high background for Fedora 9 but it does not seem to be packaged.)
@Naheem: it sounds like a package you can do yourself, I see no reason for it to not be accepted.
But we don't have (and I don't think is possible to find) the sources for all of those, so the branding can't be removed. But it should be OK to have the images branded in that package.
